Baylor Adds Standout QB to 2008 Recruiting Class

The class might not have numbers, but the Baylor coaching staff has three very good players committed to play for Baylor starting in 2008. The latest is Nick Florence, a 6'2" QB from South Garland.

Nick threw for nearly 3,000 yards (57% completion) last year with 23 TDs against 14 INTs, and showed his speed on the ground, rushing for over 400 yards and 6 TDs.

There are plenty of clips of him on the internet. I'd suggest you go check him out.

Welcome to Baylor, Nick!

Judge,
Any news on the Lester Ward, Jr. front? I know that you keep your ear to the ground. Just wondering what you're hearing.
And, of course, I agree that we have an excellent qb for the 2008 class.

How is this guy going to see playing time since he is behind last year's standout recruit QB, GJ Kinne. Oh wait, he transferred when he realized he was going to Baylor . . . get ready for this to happen again
